Blencathra Bonanza - Guided Walk

Want to burn 500+ calories in a stunning part of the Lake District National Park?

Why not join us on a fully guided walk, led by a qualified mountain leader ( also a first-aider and Registered Nurse).  We will start in Mungrisdale, 15 minutes drive from  Keswick and Junction 40 of the M6. Parking is available on the road for free and a small car park is available outside the community centre with an honesty box requiring £2.

We will ascend Souther Fell on our way to the summit of Blencathra and then journey across to Bannerdale Crags and Bowscale Fell.  If you are bagging Wainwrights, you will have the opportunity to summit 4!  The event is intended for those who are not used to being in the mountains but have sufficient fitness to walk for 8 hours at a pace of 2-3km per hour on a gradient. We will journey at a comfortable pace with plenty of photo opportunities and re-fuelling stops.

SUP & Summit ask that you pay for your activity or voucher by bank transfer as this method does not incur any charges. Companies such as PayPal take up to 3% of every transaction made and therefore, absorbing these fees means that we have to charge more for our activities or have bigger groups - something we obviously want to avoid.
