About the event
Join me on this epic 8-10 hour guided walk (depending on group pace) in the Lake District, the start of which is just a 15 minute drive from Windermere. A supportive, friendly and encouraging welcome awaits you from a qualified mountain leader (also first-aider and registered nurse) and all the other participants.
The route will take us to the glorious summit of High Street, knocking a few others off on the way - Brock Crags, The Knott, Rampsgill Head, Kidsty Pike, High Raise and Rest Dodd - 7 Wainwright’s in total. If you don't know who Wainwright is....look him up....Alfred....an icon of Cumbria.
You don’t need to be a seasoned hill walker to take part but you do need sufficient fitness to walk for 8 hours on steep paths on ascent and descent, with reasonable balance and coordination. We will journey at a comfortable pace, allowing for plenty of photo opportunities and refreshment stops as necessary.
Sturdy, well worn-in walking boots and walking poles are essential as the path will be uneven, slippy and boggy in places.
What's included:
Leadership from qualified mountain leader / first aider
Wonderful views (weather permitting)
Support and encouragement
Group support
Sense of achievement at the end!
Cost: £35 pp
Distance: 10 miles

How to pay:
SUP & Summit ask that you pay for your activity or voucher by bank transfer as this method does not incur any charges. Companies such as PayPal take up to 3% of every transaction made and therefore, absorbing these fees means that we have to charge more for our activities or have bigger groups - something we obviously want avoid.
