Stand-Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) Tuition

  • Children must be over 8 years of age and accompanied by a parent

  • You must be able to swim 50 metres (if not able, a 1-1 session will be required)

  • Delivery of sessions is subject to weather conditions

Find out for yourself why SUP has become the fastest growing water sport worldwide on one of our sessions. Will you become the next SUP addict?

Whatever your ability, we have something for everyone - from beginner level to the more experienced paddler, wanting to improve technique. We also have Pay & Paddle sessions - bring your own gear or lend ours - and paddle in the safety of a group and presence of an instructor.

We use a selection of locations for our sessions though generally, we use a stretch of the River Dee, launching at Eccleston Ferry (2.3 miles from Chester City Centre and 10 miles from Wrexham) (CH4 9JE). This picturesque location is ideal as the waters are calm, there is wonderful scenery to explore and we will have plenty of wildlife for company. In the warmer months, we also offer sessions in the sea, launching from the beach at Penmaenmawr, just off the A55 in North Wales.

All of our lessons are restricted to groups no larger than 4 participants (except Pay & Paddle sessions which are limited to 8), in order to maximise your safety and also give you a more personalised experience. Sessions are delivered in a calm, patient, methodical and supportive manner, enabling you to feel safe and quickly gain in confidence.
